A PRECIOUS STONE
The time he stayed is
felt
To old and young alike
A year that seems a
decade
Renews, amends to taste
Quench the taste of
young
Equipped with words of
wisdom
Not done, he makes it
done
A precious stone
His soothing words
alone
Calms a stoning heart
He freely gives to all
And never wants to fall
He moves with all as
same
To many that looks to
him
He helps to earn a
living
A life that filled in
giving
To all that comes his
way
He treats with love and
care
A meek and humble heart
A precious stone
Children pray for him
Suckling babies alike
The place he leaves to
go
A place anew to stay
Will flow with milk and
honey
To live we pray to God
We’ll live to smile
with him
And sing a song of joy
A precious stone
